You might not recognise his name but Burt Watson, one of the busiest men at UFC events, looks to have ended his relationship with the promotion.
Watson has worked for the Las Vegas company for as long as we can remember but he apparently walked out of UFC 184 midway through the fight card.
Watson, who is regularly introduced as “babysitter to the stars,” had countless responsibilities with the UFC, from organising transport for fighters to making sure the athletes are where they’re supposed to be during weigh-ins, as well as alerting the competitors when they were due to enter the arena with his trademark shout “we rollin”.

It’s not known yet why he has parted company with the UFC although some MMA reporters claim that he had a falling-out with management, while another rumour circulating is that he had been accused of neglecting one of the fighters, Marc Munoz, during the weigh-ins.
This will come as shocking to some… The legendary “Babysitter to the Stars” @BurtWatson4real has QUIT the UFC. Waiting on details why.

At the UFC 184 weigh ins, Burt wasn’t announced by @joerogan. He always introduced along with Dana, Lorenzo, Joe Silva, Bruce Buffer — FrontRowBrian® (@FrontRowBrian) March 2, 2015
I heard Burt Watson was accused of neglecting Mark Munoz. Left him at arena after cut. allegedly. He got into an argument w/some1 at UFC+quit

The fighters, meanwhile, were seemingly informed that Watson had left the arena after falling ill.
@FrontRowBrian They said he was sick this am. He went home the night of the fights. — James Krause (@TheJamesKrause) March 2, 2015
Whatever the reasoning, it certainly looks like we won’t be seeing Burt at a UFC event any time soon.
