The world's largest MMA promotion made the shocking announcement during the stacked UFC 181 event last night that WWE superstar CM Punk would be joining their roster on a multi-fight deal. Unsurprisingly, the promotion signing a 36-year-old entertainer with zero MMA experience caused uproar on social media.
Some wanted to be the first fighter to take on the wrestler inside the Octagon. Some were massively confused/bemused by the announcement. However, the vast majority of people were furious over what they considered to be a PR cash n' grab stunt by the UFC. Here's how Twitter reacted.
