Cancel the doctor’s appointment, you’re not going insane. CM Punk has actually signed for the UFC.
The world’s largest MMA promotion made the shocking announcement during the stacked UFC 181 event last night that WWE superstar CM Punk would be joining their roster on a multi-fight deal. Unsurprisingly, the promotion signing a 36-year-old entertainer with zero MMA experience caused uproar on social media.
Some wanted to be the first fighter to take on the wrestler inside the Octagon. Some were massively confused/bemused by the announcement. However, the vast majority of people were furious over what they considered to be a PR cash n’ grab stunt by the UFC. Here’s how Twitter reacted.
