Rafael dos Anjos is still looking for that Red Panty Night payday he missed out on at UFC 196, by the looks of it.
Conor McGregor uploaded a photo to his Instagram account earlier this week of himself alongside SBG teammates Paddy Holohan and Aisling Daly posing with their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belts and coach John Kavanagh donning his black belt.
Undisputed lightweight champion dos Anjos spotted the photo and his eagle eyes noticed something a bit off. He posted a cropped version of the pic focusing on the Notorious across his social media channels on Thursday. The Brazilian criticised the Dubliner’s belt-tying acumen, calling the featherweight king a “joke”.
Unsurprisingly, Notorious fans did not take too kindly to dos Anjos’ dig at their homeboy. The McGregorites came out in force to cut the man who pulled out of his scheduled bout with McGregor at UFC 196 qith injury down to size.
The comment everyone was expecting.
The “good one”.
The needlessly harsh reply.
The even more needlessly harsh reply.
The below-the-belt cheap shot.
The voice of reason.
Here’s a question nobody seems to be asking – how does RDA tie the “black belt” in Muay Thai he received under under Rafael Cordeiro’s system?
