The famous Reebok Pumps are being re-imagined and we’re, well, pumped about it.
And we’re not the only ones as some of the UFC’s biggest names came out for the launch this afternoon.
Conor McGregor, Jon Jones, Paige Vanzant were all in the front row alongside Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta as the sports apparel giant set their plans to put a new spin on the iconic runners that were made famous in the early 90s.

The original pumps (which we’re sure are held as dearly in your hearts as they are in ours) had the pump button on the tongue of the runners which could be pressed to inflate the cushioning around the ankle, though in reality nothing really happened at all. But the new version of the footwear features the button on the side
The UFC’s strong presence is not surprising considering the uniform deal that they signed with Reebok which will see the clothing company take over as the primary sponsor of all fighters on the promotions roster under an outfitting policy which comes into effect this summer.
But some fighters, such as Conor McGregor have already signed with Reebok and, judging by today’s tweet he’s taking the deal very seriously.
