Pic: Akira Corassani shamelessly recounts story of how he cheated to win a fight

"If you ain't cheating you ain't trying"

Ex-UFC fighter and concussion connoisseur Akira Corassani made a startling revelation on social media today

The Swede, who recently retired after suffering his third straight knockout loss, confessed to using unlawful tactics to win a fight. The former featherweight was coy about revealing any major details on the fight but, from what he said, it almost definitely happened before he signed for the UFC.

The Swede explained how his opponent was frustrating him by fighting dirty in the clinch throughout the fight, This caused him to lose the rag and throw a big haymaker that grazed his forehead. Such was the strength of the punch, that he felt his hand break after landing the strike.

Corassani realised that he would have to find a different way to win after injuring himself during the fight and what he came up with was to simply kicked him in the family jewels.

Suddenly I thought I’d come up with a genius idea. I was going to kick him right in the balls in order to get a breather, hoping that the referee would jump.

I faked a jab and BOOM, threw a straight kick right up his nutsack as hard as I could. He fell to the ground screaming and moaning as the ref paused the fight… YES, it worked!

Caught my breath and regained my focus with only 2 minutes left of the fight. Went back out and took him down with the energy I’d gotten back. … And the winner by unanimous decision, Aaaakira Coraaaaassani!

Corassani later posted a photo of Michael Douglas from the movie ‘Falling Down’ – a film in which Douglas’ character William Foster has a pretty major meltdown caused by a relatively minor every day event.

Not that we’re saying there’s any similarities.
