It’s starting to get a little bit creepy now.
A teenage Conor McGregor told Bruce Buffer that he’d one day be announcing his name, that came true.
He predicted he’d put Diego Brandao away in the first round, that came true. The same happened for Dustin Poirier.
McGregor anticipated that Jose Aldo would pull out of their July 189 main event. We all know what happened there.
The Notorious pretty much called the interim title fight with Chad Mendes to a tee.
And the perspicacity of Conor McGregor has come to the fore once more after UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw announced that he was leaving Team Alpha Male.
McGregor was filmed on The Ultimate Fighter telling Alpha Male founder Urijah Faber that he had a bad feeling about Dillashaw’s loyalty.
“I don’t mind him (Dillashaw). I just sense disloyalty,” McGregor said. “I sense a snake and I’m going to say that when I see it. It’s not like I don’t like TJ. He’s alright. He’s harmless as well, little short ass.”
It has looked like a great shout as Dillashaw announced on Tuesday that he would be leaving Faber’s Sacramento gym with the following statement.
“In regards to my upcoming fight camp, I will be doing my training in Colorado. The last six years at Team Alpha Male have been irreplaceable and my brothers there will forever be family to me. I thank each and every one of them for helping me along the way and being a part of this journey we’ve shared. This is not the end of being a part of the Team Alpha Male family, but a new chapter in my career.”
Any chance of the lotto numbers, Conor?
