The latest fighter to be signed by the World Series of Fighting moonlights as a caped crusader.
Undefeated welterweight Ben Fodor (5-0-1) signed for the MMA promotion on Wednesday. The 26-year-old rose to prominence as masked crime-fighter “Phoenix Jones”.
Fodor sent a tweet yesterday claiming that several large MMA organisations were interested in his signature. After weighing up all the options he decided to sign for the WSOF.

He implied on Twitter that the reason why he opted for that particular promotion was because they would allow him to continue to fight crime in his off time. Fodor will make his promotional debut at WSOF 20 on 10th April.
WHY @MMAWorldSeries BECAUSE THEY RESPECT THERE FIGHTERS AND WONT ASK YOU TO STOP BEING WHO YOU ARE. https://t.co/wAqohiL1H2
