No fighter knows Chad Mendes better than Jose Aldo.
The UFC featherweight champion has defended his title on two occasions against Mendes so is more than a little aware of the Californian’s abilities.
In their last meeting in October Money gave Aldo the toughest test of his career, leaving the 145lb kingpin with the most damage he’s ever sustained.
And Aldo reckons he’s learned enough to know that the American will beat Conor McGregor when the pair meet for an interim title on Saturday night.
After Mendes tweeted the Brazilian to let him know that he respected him more than McGregor, Aldo responded with this tweet.
The respect is mutual and I’m looking forward to fight u Again, because I know you’ll beat the Joker up! U can count on my fans!@chadmendes!

We’re not altogether surprised that Aldo is picking against The Notorious considering the amount of trash-talk that’s come out of the mouth of the Dubliner in the last six months.
