Jose Aldo deleted this angry tweet about Conor McGregor’s retirement

Did it last more than 13 seconds?

Jose Aldo hasn’t really dealt with the whole losing to Conor McGregor thing well.

He tried the old ‘I’m not really bothered’ thing after the crushing 13-second defeat last December.

Then he was hell-bent on getting his revenge ‘any time, anywhere’ – until he was apparently offered an 11th hour shot at the featherweight champion when Rafael dos Anjos pulled out injured.

Once Nate Diaz had stepped in and choked out the Irishman at UFC 196, the Brazilian was all guns blazing calling McGregor a ‘p*ssy’ for tapping out in the second round of the welterweight clash – despite saying he had no interest in watching the fight.

So it was obvious he wasn’t going to be able to resist having a little dig when the 27-year-old Dubliner tweeted that he was set to retire early from the game…

Nobody is even sure it’s a hoax yet and that the whole world isn’t being trolled.

The closest thing to official confirmation has been respect MMA journalist Ariel Helwani tweeting out that multiple sources had confirmed it was legit.

But that didn’t stop the former pound-for-pound king Aldo wading in with a tweet reacting to McGregor’s supposed retirement.

No sooner than had he sent the tweet out into the world, than Scarface, who was undefeated for 10 years, quickly took it down.

Lucky for us someone grabbed a screen shot of exactly what he put. Read into it what you will, but we reckon it’s a big f**k you for possibly robbing him of the opportunity to avenge the flash knockout that dethroned him as the only ever featherweight champ.
