New England Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones was hospitalised on Sunday after an undisclosed “medical emergency.”
The Boston Herald reported that “Jones arrived at the police station at 7:42 a.m. with a medical emergency and was evaluated by fire and EMS officials before being transported to Norwood Hospital just after 8 a.m.”
The report adds that “the police chief confirmed information was deleted from dispatch records before they were released to the Herald.”
However, the producer of Boston radio show “Dennis and Callahan Show” tweeted that the brother of arguably the greatest fighter to ever grace an Octagon had been rushed to hospital after he “OD’d on pills,” citing police sources.
An earlier tweet claiming the overdose occurred at the home of Patriots’ tight end Rob Gronkowski was deleted by the radio show.
According to multiple police sources Chandler Jones "OD'd on pills" Saturday night and was taken in an ambulance to Norwood Hospital.

It is important to note that nothing has been confirmed about what led to Chandler’s hospitalisation other than it was a “medical emergency”. He was released from hospital just a few hours after arrival.
