Jon Jones loses it, goes on irate Twitter tirade against light heavyweight division

We await the deleting spree

Jon Jones has a bit of a reputation for deleting social media posts.

That’s why we’ve taken the liberty of screenshotting the below diatribe just in case it disappears forever.

With an upcoming arbitration hearing with the Nevada State Athletic Commission, one would have expected the former UFC light heavyweight champion to be keeping the lowest of profiles.

But Jones’ patience can only stretch so far and the recent promotional tour of reigning champion Daniel Cormier and challenger Anthony Johnson has drawn the ire of ‘Bones’.

UFC 200 New York Press Event

For the second time Cormier and Johnson will face off, with the belt that Jones never lost on the line, and they’ve been doing the rounds on radio and television in Toronto ahead of their UFC 206 match-up.

Jones’ personal troubles were brought up on a few occasions throughout the tour and that was enough to make the 29-year-old snap and lash out at the men atop the division of which he was undisputed king for so long.

Jones hinted at Johnson’s previous UFC suspension for domestic abuse allegations, as well as Cormier’s defeat to ‘Bones’ last year in the rant that, at the time of writing, remains surprisingly undeleted.
