If you think that Jose Aldo looked like a man facing the executioner before his fight with Conor McGregor, you’re not the only one.
Audio of commentator Joe Rogan in conversation with the UFC 194 production team suggests he wasn’t optimistic about former featherweight champion Aldo’s chances as he was introduced to the crowd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
A clip from the producer’s audio surfaced on Reddit which appears to show Rogan saying Aldo’s body looked ‘soft’ and that ‘Scarface’ looked ‘nervous as f**k in the moments before his clash with McGregor.
Rogan then said that he was behind McGregor for the win…and it proved right as just 13 seconds into the fight The Notorious caught the Brazilian with a single punch to the jaw which knocked him out cold to win the UFC title.
