In a group message in the wee hours of Sunday morning, one of the friends warned the others that his stream (down with this sort of thing) was lagging and behind the real time. So he didn’t want any spoilers.
Naturally, he got plenty of them. But he got them before the fight even begun.
McGregor knocked out Jose Aldo at 5.54am Irish time but, beforehand, this group of friends were going to town with some bold, piss-take commentary on the fight that ended up being spot on.
