Irish fans in Las Vegas unveil absolutely hilarious Father Ted flag

Take a bow lads

Robert Redmond

It wouldn’t be an Irish sporting event without a Father Ted reference.

This weekend, Ireland’s living to the old Fighting Irish adage, in the form of Conor McGregor, Cathal Pendred and Neill Seer. While the Irish fans are showing why the country is famous for it’s wit and creativity.

The descendants of Joyce and Yeats are flexing their creative muscle in Sin City, and have come up with some hilarious flags.

There’s a flag inspired by a certain RTE presenter, which is bound to please the Las Vegas natives. One trolling Jose Aldo, inspired by a famous Liam Neeson movie scene, and this one, featuring Ted and Dougal’s boss Len.

Sorry, Bishop Brennan.

The flag brings back memories of a few gems from Ireland’s Euro 2012 campaign.

fr.-ted-massAs if that wasn’t enough, here’s another great flag on display in Vegas this weekend. These lads opted for Irish actor Neeson’s famous phone call in Taken, but the result is just as funny.
