The Notorious follows in the footsteps of Vitor Belfort with the latest deal.
We are just over a week out from UFC 194 but, as Conor Mcgregor would say, there is always time for good business.
The Irishman has agreed to become one of the ambassadorial athletes on the BSN [Bio-Engineered Supplements and Nutrition] roster.
The deal is reportedly set for the next two years, with an extension an eminent possibility. No monetary figures for the deal have been released.
In a statement released through the sports nutrition company, McGregor comments, “I take my nutrition very, very seriously. You can’t cut corners in this game.
“You must align yourself with the best in each field, and that is what I have done… [BSN] are breaking barriers in their field and I am breaking barriers in my field. It’s a partnership.”
The latest sponsorship comes on the heels of similar sponsorship deals McGregor has penned with Reebok, Monster and Bud Light.
He is only the second MMA fighter to team up with the American company after Vitor Belfort. Most of the other athletes on their roster are body-builders.
