Well, he did warn us that he would take over.
Conor McGregor spiced up last night’s UFC 182 when he jumped into the Fox Sports hotseat and ran their Twitter account for the two big events in Las Vegas.
The Irish fighter is in action in two weeks’ time in Boston but he was in relaxed mood on Saturday evening as he took in the action and put his thoughts into tweet form – Conor McGregor tweet form.
Fox Sports 1 took a gamble when they handed The Notorious their social media keys as the eyes of the world tuned in to see if the most quotable man in MMA would use the platform for another one of his legendary pops but the Dubliner was well behaved. And he even kick-started proceedings with a greeting in his native tongue.
I am about to take over @FOXSports1 Twitter account. I will LIVE tweet the closing bouts to this phenomenal UFC 182 card! #JonesVsCormier
