Diego Sanchez kicks Twitter feud with Conor McGregor up a notch

We're looking forward to McGregor's inevitable response

It’s fair to say that Diego Sanchez hates McGregor’s guts with a passion

The Nightmare appears to be trying to get his Twitter beef with the Irish UFC superstar roaring again just before his key fight with Dennis Siver at UFC Boston. The winner of the inaugural The Ultimate Fighter competition tweeted a photo that both accurately illustrated the intensity of his hatred of Conor McGregor and mades us worry about his mental health in equal measure.

This isn’t the first time the Nightmare has taken to the tweets to talk smack about the Notorious. Last year he sent out a tweet which was clearly meant as a dig for McGregor and the perceived preferential treatment he receives from the UFC. Unsurprisingly, McGregor took offence to this and replied with an archetypal McGregorism.

Their beef intensified so much that when Norman Parke withdrew from his fight with Sanchez due to injury last year, McGregor expressed his interest in stepping in. He vowed to retire the MMA veteran at UFC 180.

However, the fight was never booked and Sanchez was given Joe Lauzon instead. As it turned out both fighters had to withdraw with injury and the bout was pulled from the card completely.
