Dana White is living the high life.
UFC president Dana White was rich before the landmark sale of the promotion. Then he received a reported $360 million cut from the deal. So that might explain why he doesn’t show up to as many events as he used to.
If White isn’t attending a car, he tunes in from a custom-built private room. He showed off the swanky room to Harvey Levin on the Fox News show OBJECTified.
“Nobody’s seen this room except for my inner inner circle.”
“This room I built because I can’t travel to all the fights like I used to. I went on a 12 or 13-year run where I didn’t miss a fight all over the world. So I built this room.”
Here’s what we saw from the brief glance of the room:
- Outrageously high ceiling
- Surround sound
- Two couches large enough to hold the population of a small Irish village
- Massive projector screen
- Pristine carpets and dress cushions (clearly for the guests’ benefit!)
But there’s more to it than that. White is actually able to converse with the production team running the event from the room. If he’s feeling peckish, he’s got a chef on hand to fix him up some grub.
“In here, I can talk directly to the truck. No matter where we are in the world. I watch the fights here. I’ve got a chef in the other room. He cooks me dinner and IÂ sit in here and I watch the fights and I can run the entire production from here.”
Not a bad set-up at all.
It certainly beats a dodgy perfectly legal stream on a shitty laptop any day of the week.
