McGregor also challenged YouTube star KSI to a bare knuckle boxing bout…
Conor McGregor has revealed his plans for his next three UFC bouts, in a bizarre ring interview at Anthony Joshua’s knockout victory over Robert Helenius in London on Saturday night.
The former two-weight UFC World Champion told fans in attendance that he plans to step back into the Octagon on December 16th, for the first time since his leg break defeat to Dustin Poirier in the summer of 2021.
Confirming that he will fight opposing Ultimate Fighter coach Michael Chandler, McGregor also revealed his intentions to fight reigning BMF Champion Justin Gaethje should he defeat his compatriot.

The final revelation from the 35-year-old was that he plans for his third return fight to be the long-awaited trilogy bout between himself and Nate Diaz, who currently sit on one win apiece.
“Chandler next, December,” said McGregor, before adding, “And then Gaethje… and then we’ll do the Nate trilogy.”
The confirmation of McGregor’s next opponents comes days after the fighter himself threw doubt over his planned match-up against Chandler into doubt, claiming he would only fight for a Championship/ BMF belt.
In a rather bizarre twist of events, the Dublin fighter also called out British YouTube star KSI, challenging him to a bare knuckle boxing match.
“I know your man KSI is in the crowd, yeah? And he couldn’t box eggs if he worked in an egg boxing factory,” McGregor said.
“So if he wants to get in here, I’ll give him a final- bareknuckle… if he wants.”
