Conor McGregor is trying his best to reignite his bitter Twitter feud with fellow UFC featherweight Cub Swanson.
It appeared like the beef between McGregor and Swanson on social media had been squashed but the Notorious showed that he was willing to use any excuse to poke fun at the American on Friday night.
Swanson retweeeted a link to where to buy his new signature belts and McGregor jumped on the opportunity to score some points on Hans Mole… I mean, Swanson.
McGregor offered to buy a few of the belts, in a massively patronising way in order to “support” his fellow fighter. He played up the revenue he will earn from an unspecified TV deal as the reason why he could purchase some of the belts.
Looking to buy a few of these belts to support Cub and tie up a few mill off the TV Deal. What's the durability like? @Nexbelt @CubSwanson

Swanson, who is well used to McGregor’s abuse at this stage, was quick to respond to the tweet.
That's very sweet of you ❤️ Just say it one more time…."Killer Cubs belt" @TheNotoriousMMA @Nexbelt

It’s difficult to tell from the tone whether or not he was enraged by McGregor’s goading, or he took it in his stride. Judging by how much he’s been riled up by the Irish man before, it’s safe to assume it was the former.
