“They all doubted me. Every one of yiz doubted me.”
Conor McGregor and John Kavanagh had a few quiet moments together after he beat Nate Diaz at UFC 202.
The Dubliner went in for his post-fight medical but, minutes later, was dragged six ways to Sunday with media requests and requirements.
Exclusive footage from The Mac Life shows McGregor, on crutches, and Kavanagh having a conversation about Diaz’ durability amid the backstage din. McGregor then hollers at everyone who doubted him ahead of the rematch.
“Doubt me now. Doubt me now!”
McGregor also laughs as he reveals he had planned on declaring ‘Surprise, surprise motherf**kers, the king is back’ for months.
The man had some scores to settle. Settle them he did.
