Not one fighter had to re-weigh after tonight’s UFC Fight Night 59 weigh-ins with Conor McGregor coming in at “championship weight.”
Paddy Holohan, donning an Ireland jersey, was the first Irishman to make his way to the scales ahead of his flyweight bout with Shane Howell and both fighters came in bang on 125lbs.
Then it was the turn of The Hooligan‘s SBG teammate Cathal Pendred to step up and he too had no problem with the cut, making the welterweight limit of 171lbs ahead of tomorrow night’s meeting with Sean Spencer.

Bushmills man Norman Parke opens up the main card tomorrow night and he weighed in at 156lbs for a tough lightweight encounter against Gleison Tibau. Then came the moment that we were all waiting for as Conor McGregor made his way to the stage with the tricolour held aloft.
Dennis Siver came in at 146lbs while Conor McGregor came in bang on 145lbs which he made sure to point out to Mike Goldberg afterwards, saying: “That’s 1.4.5! That’s championship weight. Tell Jose I’m coming!”
