We think we know what The Notorious would say to this.
Conor McGregor claims he is the ‘money fight’ all male fighters in the UFC would jump at but it seems that even past warriors of the octagon are out to make a few shekels off the back of the Dubliner’s current popularity.
Former light-heavyweight MMA star Chael Sonnen took to Twitter last night to take a few cheap shots at McGregor, primarily, it seems, to try to shift a few of his Bad Guy Inc T-shirts.
McGregor’s use of the term ‘Red Panty Night’ to describe the celebrations of fighters with their significant others upon getting to throw down with the interim featherweight champion appears to have ticked Sonnen off, as he laid claim to the phrase before attacking McGregor’s hairstyles and fashion sense.
Of course, it just so happens Sonnen is hawking a new Red Panty Night T-shirt, but we’re sure that’s entirely unconnected from the attack on a man he has labelled a future UFC Hall of Famer.
