People can’t seem to get on board with the idea that the UFC are going to try to promote their biggest stars as much as possible.

This week the UFC will hold its second Athlete Summit meeting which will take place in Las Vegas.

Across Monday and Tuesday, a host of fighters on the roster will be there to discuss topics such as financial planning, media training and the war against performance enhancing drugs in the sport.

The UFC went with arguably the two biggest stars currently in the promotion to be the faces of the campaign, which has been met with some backlash.

It seems that people find it amusing that of all the champions they had to choose from, the UFC decided to put interim belt-holder Conor McGregor alongside Ronda Rousey on the banner.

Many feel that the promotion’s decision to snub pound-for-pound champion Jose Aldo for the poster is an indication that the UFC really want the Notorious to defeat the first and only featherweight belt-holder in the promotion. However, this perceived bias hasn’t really been met with anger by fans, most are amused by it.
