This could have ended very badly indeed.
Bryan Cooper was extremely fortunate to walk away from this horrific collision on Friday afternoon at Limerick.
Having fallen from his ride, Cooper was taken out by the following horse in full stride yet amazingly escaped unscathed.
The 23-year-old Kerryman has a massive week ahead of him, with his pick of Don Cossack and Don Poli to ride in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
If he wasn’t so lucky, next week would have been spent watching from the stands but, thankfully, all reports from Limerick suggest he will be fine.
These jockeys are made of tough stuff.
