If you hadn’t realised yet, Ted Walsh REALLY likes Faugheen.
The undefeated Willie Mullins trained horse won the Queally Group Celebrating 35 Years In Naas Punchestown Champion Hurdle (and breathe…) this afternoon, and it’s fair to say Ted enjoyed it.
Walsh declared the horse is so good, you’d be tempted to bring it to bed with you if you had him at home. Naturally, Twitter enjoyed it.
Did I just hear Ted Walsh say he wants to take Faugheen to bed its so beautiful? @RTEracing @punchestownrace

However, while that quote did have us chuckling, we were indulging in a hearty belly laugh when he came out with this particularly blunt line yesterday.

Never change Ted. Please, never change.
