Irish jockey’s ban at the centre of the rudest headline we’ve seen in a while on Sky

We shouldn't laugh but

Kevin McGillicuddy

Firstly who thought it was a good a idea to name a horse Roryslittlesister?

Jockey David Fitzpatrick has been handed a pretty severe ban for his ride on a horse at Naas on Monday night.

The rider took charge of Roryslittlesister, who finished eighth of 12 in the 5f apprentice handicap.

However he admitted afterwards it was an ‘appalling’ ride and there was  stewards inquiry.

That found Fitzpatrick in breach of rule 212, which pertains to failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain his best possible placing, and he received a 21-day ban

Rather unfortunately the news made for quite an epic headline on Sky Sports this afternoon
