It’s almost a passing of the torch
To kick off Masters week, Nike has released a fabulous new ad featuring its top players, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
Entitled ‘Ripple’, the commercial begins with the young McIlroy watching Woods win the US Amateur title in 1994 and being inspired to pick up a plastic set of clubs in his front room, before charting the young Irishman’s determined rise alongside Woods’ storied career.
The two-minute ad ends with the pair teeing off together and striding down the fairway, presumably the inspiration for the next young star-in-waiting.
