An amateur golfer in Australia suffered serious injuries after being bitten by a crocodile while searching for his ball in a water trap.
John Lahiff went into the water to try to reclaim his ball when the crocodile took a bite out of his leg.
The 75-year-old suffered "a deep laceration to his shin and puncture wounds to his calf", after being attacked by the reptile.
However, the elderly man was incredibly laid back about the horrific ordeal. Lying in his hospital bed recovering from his injuries, he said the incident would not put him off playing golf in the future and that the crocodile "got more of a fright than me'.
