His six-year truth-telling streak may be at an end.
Tiger Woods had an unfortunate run-in with a tree root on Masters Sunday, at Augusta National.
That was only the beginning.
After signing off for a four-round total of -5, Woods told reporters than a bone in his wrist had popped out during his iron shot. This is the Q&A transcription:
Q. We saw you catch a root, apparently?
TIGER WOODS: Yeah.
Q. How are you feeling?
TIGER WOODS: A bone kind of popped out and the joint kind of went out of place, but I put it back in.
Q. Really?
TIGER WOODS: Yeah.
Wow. Okay.
Golf fans quickly took to Twitter to call ‘bullshit’ on Woods.
Tiger Woods after his round: yeah on the ninth hole my hand fell off and I put it back on with some yarn and super glue. All in a day’s work — SAM GALLEN (@SJGallen) April 12, 2015
Am I the only person who’s calling bs on Tiger Woods claiming he dislocated his wrist, and yet still was able to play? #masters2015

@TigerWoods I didn’t know you were an orthopedic surgeon. I call BS on that. You did not reduce a dislocation today. Wtf? — Ellen Hampton (@auntello) April 12, 2015
