The Offaly man has been in fine form in Ohio this week, and is right in the mix as the WGC- Bridgestone Invitational enters its final round this evening.
However, the extra attention of being on the first page of the leaderboard at one of the biggest non-majors of the year golfer saw the Sky Sports news ticker drones sprint to Google to confirm Lowry’s nationality.
But wait, there’s more.
A quick Google of the WGC leaderboard shows that the search engine itself has awarded the proud Irishman an Aussie passport…
