The best day since 1998
Shane Lowry is over $1.5 million dollars richer this morning after his sensational win at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational on Sunday night.
Unfortunately, while he was counting up the cash, we were left counting sheep as pretty much the entire country found it hard to get back to sleep after the Clara man’s first ever PGA Tour win.
We imagine that all of county Offaly especially was enraptured by their native son’s performance and are probably cursing Lowry for making Monday that little bit harder.
However, Irish Rail may have some respite for you, especially if you’re getting a train to work this morning.
Usually get one of the early commuter trains from Clara on Monday morning? Some later options for you. Just in case. pic.twitter.com/hXV0mWLIyu

We think the advice may be particularly appropriate for members of Esker Hills Golf Club who went absolutely bonkers last night when Lowry sunk the winning putt.
