We’re fans of Antiques Roadshow ourselves
If you have managed to to blag the day off work because of that ‘splitting headache’ or that ‘mysterious back ache’ that suddenly flares up about four times a year, then you’d have hoped to sit down for a good day’s golf.
It’s not every week that a major goes to a Monday, and unless you were around in 1988 you won’t have seen action like this before.
So viewers across the water in Britain, and subsequently here, were pretty miffed not to find wall-top-wall golf action on the BBC this morning
Instead they got Homes under the Hammer from 10am, followed by Close Calls: On Camera which led nicely into Heir Hunters and then Bargain Hunt at 12.15.
@BBCSport there is nothing more exciting on #open2015 final day than watching whether antique walking sticks make a profit on bargain hunt.
