One of golf’s greatest players, Arnold Palmer, was asked about his one-hour phone conversation with the currently injured Tiger Woods and came back with a gem.
Interviewed at his invitational tournament in the United States, Palmer quipped, ‘First of all, whoever told you it [our conversation] was an hour is full of sh*t.’
Palmer added, ‘I’ve known Tiger since he was three-foot tall. He was a great kid… for me to tell Tiger what he can do, I can only say one thing. Practice.’
