A Wicklow Senior Hurling Championship game between Glenealy and St Patrick's descended into chaos at the full-time whistle on Friday.

Both sides finished on 2-11, with the Glenealy keeper sent off after the final whistle for the dissent.

A fight between the two sides ensued, but when it all seemed to be dying down into continued into the stands and led to some shocking scenes.

It remains to be seen whether further action will be taken.
