Larry O’Gorman is a legend around Wexford Town.
Not only did “Brother” claim the hurler of the year award in 1996 when Wexford won their last All-Ireland, but he has foiled crimes on the Main Street and is generally considered an all round leg-end.
So, who better to show former ice hockey goaltender Alex Auld the basics of hurling ahead of his debut for Faythe Harriers on The Toughest Trade on Friday night.
"You use your big hips and your big arse to push him out of the way"… god bless Larry O'Gorman #TheToughest

Along with letting Alex know the power of the arse and hips in our ancient sport, “Brother” gives Alex a handy way of remembering the key skills of hurling.
“Hook it, block it, pick it, roll it, kick it and flick it.”
Simples.
“Hook it, block it, pick it…” That has all the hallmarks of a no 1 single in the Wexford FM top 30! #TheToughest #LarryOForEurovision pic.twitter.com/ymYNIAFjKc

Some viewers spotted some similarities between Larry’s advice and that of legendary Dodgeball coach Patches O’Houlihan
