Pure class.
That is the only way to describe the support, and sympathy shown by Dublin and Donegal GAA fans tonight in Croke Park.
Their respective teams are fighting for points in the Allianz League, but events earlier this week in Buncrana put everything else into the shade.
It was suggested this week by Dublin supporters groups that when the fifth minute of the game came around, sixty seconds applause would ring out around Croke Park to remember the five members of the one family who lost their lives in the pier tragedy.
It was a wonderfully simple, but an evocative idea, perfectly executed, and everyone in Croke Park should be proud of their efforts tonight.
