There’s a lot more work that goes into winning an Ulster club championship than the barnstorming Slaughtneil and Omagh showpiece would’ve displayed two weeks ago. And they did their damned best to show it all off in one 60-minute spell.
But across nine counties, four codes and another helter-skelter year, the Gaelic Life have cobbled together the best club male and female footballers, hurlers and camogs in Ulster and they have left the voting open to you.
After Slaughtneil’s precious maiden success in the senior football competition, they naturally dominate the selections but, judging from the list, there are going to be a few tight calls.
