Opposites attract
Croke Park opens its gates tomorrow for the first big hurling clash of the summer in the capital, and we can’t wait.
Galway and Dublin have served up some classic encounters in league and championship over the last few seasons, and the fact that both sides had poor 2014 campaigns means a wonderful opening round game in the Leinster championship tomorrow.
There are new faces on both sides, but if previous meetings are anything to go by, there won’t be much time to get your bearings when the ball is thrown in.
Last week RTE went for blood-and-thunder in their promo for the Munster clash of Clare and Limerick, but they have gone for a more soft touch this time,using some poetry from Rudyard Kipling to set the scene.
