They might not even need Aidan O’Shea back.
The Mayo man is tearing it up across the pond as he looks more and more like a fully-fledged American Footballer. But the trade in the other direction has been equally as impressive.
Roberto Wallace, former Miami Dolphins wide receiver, was given a complete culture shock when he made his way to the west coast of Ireland to see if he cut it as a club GAA player.
And the Panama native has seemingly excelled.
In the last of the trailers for AIB GAA’s The Toughest Trade documentary (the second part of which airs on Tuesday night), Wallace has thrown himself into the Mayo way of life and he looks like he might’ve come in handy for Breaffy too.
Donning the number 14 jersey, Wallace put in serious work, immersed himself in the culture and seems comfortable with the size five O’Neill’s ball – rattling two to the net in this short preview.
They reckon Mayo need a few forwards, Roberto…
A supreme athlete, but how will former Miami Dolphin @Roberto_Wallace adapt to Gaelic Football in #TheToughest Tradehttps://t.co/SUmSyyChYM
