Could we have seen the early foundations of next year’s Toughest Trade?
While we’re not too sure that there are many hurlers with the promo-cutting abilities necessary to make it in the world of professional wrestling, there’s definitely at least one WWE superstar who can strike a sliotar.
Ahead of the WWE’s show in Dublin on Thursday night, local gal Becky Lynch brought The Usos to Ballyboden St Endas to get a taste of the GAA.
One of the brothers, who are sons of legendary ‘Stinkface’ creator Rikishi, was handed a hurl and told to give the crossbar challenge a go, which he perfectly nailed.

Unfortunately, we live in an age where everything is recorded and it soon emerged that the beautiful strike was not the first attempt for the would-be full forward as the superstar found nothing but air in his first shot.

Still, at least it proves that practise makes perfect.
