Video: Now there is footage of David Bentley kicking a point in Gaelic football

Not bad, not bad at all

The former Spurs man is playing with Crosssmaglen this week as part of a TV show

Last night we heard that David Bentley made a more than competent debut to his GAA career, scoring 0-3 against Silverbridge for Crossmaglen in a challenge match last night.

Bentley, who is in the Armagh town for a week to try his hand at Gaelic football for an upcoming TV show called ‘The Toughest Trade’ seems to be settling in well and now that we have footage of his exploits we can see that he might just have a future in Gaelic games.

Here is his second point of the game, from a free, and the technique doesn’t look too bad to us at all.

This effort wasn’t quite so good but if you ever need a fella to put a ball in around the square to cause a bit of mayhem, this high-flighted free would do the trick.

But he was clearly getting the hang of it as he floated over this free with minimum fuss.

Hat-tip to Damian McCullough and Cathal Fegan for the videos
