Bet they can’t balance a spoon on their nose though?

So what if you hit a ball over the bar from 50 metres out with your weak foot and four lads hanging out of you, that’s nothing. And we guffaw at your ability to strike a sideline cut. Could you do it while blindfolded and your hurl is on fire?

That’s the kind of secret abilities we want to see from our GAA players. So until someone comes up to our very high standard we’ll make do with this video instead from the GAA and the Allianz League, which highlights the other worldly talents of players such as Anthony Nash, Cillian O’Connor and Brendan Maher

Several of the players featured highlight some musical ability while Paul Geaney must be one of a handful of Kerrymen to have a hurling and football All-Ireland medal. However the most frightening hidden talent has to be from the Cork goalkeeper who admits he played badminton among other sports and has a major passion for FIFA. Imagine him flaking a shuttlecock at you? They might have to bring a ‘Nash rule’ into that sport too.
