You know you’re a good footballer when your former manager puts together a tribute video of you on YouTube.
Mayo man Maurice Horan, or @_terminalx as he’s known on Twitter, managed Limerick and Galvin between 2010 and 2013, bringing them to a Munster final and All-Ireland quarter final in 2011, before winning a Division 4 league title in 2013.
Following Galvin’s retirement this morning, Horan threw together some classic moments of John Galvin brilliance, which really show just how classy a player the midfielder was.
There are some incredible bits of fielding in this video, and some marauding runs through defences.
Horan tweeted the video this morning, adding his two cents worth to the long list of tributes for the midfielder.
If All-Irel medals were given out for singlemindedness this guy wud have 7 or 8. Some random clips for Limerick fans http://t.co/RfCd0Ie6s7
