Jamie Wall brought the house down at the Rochestown Park hotel in Cork with his inspirational walk.
The former Cork minor and U21 star had been confined to a wheelchair when a back ache turned out to be an epidural abscess that, after surgery, led to him losing the use of his legs.
A few months ago he took massive leaps in his recovery by starting to learn how to walk with the aid of an exo-skeleton.
He did this feat again at the 25th anniversary of Cork’s double success in 1990 which sparked a huge roar from the 600-strong crowd at the event.
All proceeds from the night went to the Friends of Jamie Wall fund and the Friends of Dessie Fitzgerald fund.
