What do Kilkenny, the Pope and bears have in common? They’re all mentioned Dónal Óg Cusack’s latest odd analogy.
The former Cork goalkeeper must really be commended for managing to draw parallels between the All-Ireland hurling champions, God’s representative on Earth according to the Catholics and, well, bears.
During the All-Ireland hurling final installment of the Sunday Game, Dónal Óg wheeled out a quote that will live long in the memory of everyone who was tuning in.
“Kilkenny don’t do tactics, the Pope isn’t Catholic and bears use bidets.”
Classic.
Bears don't use bidets? My whole life has been a lie #SundayGame @DonalOgC pic.twitter.com/HIIEtecO1g
