Tyrone GAA pay a very classy tribute to their Tipperary hosts from Saturday

A trip to remember

Kevin McGillicuddy

We don’t see enough of this

Tyrone gave Tipperary a bit of a footballing masterclass on Saturday in their All-Ireland qualifier in Semple Stadium.

Mickey Harte’s side looked like they were regaining some form in the 0-19 to 0-7 win with the home side seeing their manager Peter Creedon quitting his role after the game.

The match was the first between the two counties since the controversial U21 football final back in May.

But it’s clear that any bad blood between the two counties since that fractious encounter has dissipated with this wonderful message from the Tyrone county board.

The Red Hand had never before played  in Semple Stadium and by this message posted to the Tyrone facebook account it seems that they were given the special treatment from their hosts
