This is how you bring a game to life.
Trinity College Dublin squared off against Maynooth University in the Inter-varsities Junior Championship on Friday and whoever was running their Twitter account for the game was in stellar form.
The account began the coverage with an injury update, with a bit of a twist.
The car, however, has yet to make a full recovery.

Then came the team news, and it was clear that more research should have been done on the starting XV.
Accompanying Rob in the full back line are two lads with a chance to make names for themselves – mainly because no one knows who they are

We were then blessed with some tactical analysis.
Rob Lynch is at no.6, and will hope to keep the Maynooth no. 11 on a leash as tight as the one his girlfriend has been keeping him on lately

This was followed by the first mention of Will Freeley’s legs. (We’ll get back to them in due course.)
Will Freeley has been flat out doing legs in the gym recently – so don't expect him to be doing any running today from midfield

Then we received the obligatory player’s background information.
As a kid Seán Moran was quite slow, but being constantly chased around by gardaí as a teenager has turned him into a natural sprinter!

Willy Freeley’s legs suddenly became the focal point of the match.
Will Freeley proves to everyone his legs are fully recovered by making a great run from midfield to fist the ball into the back of the net!

Will Freeley showing to us it's not just legs he works on in the gym by throwing some hefty shoulders into Maynooth boys

The importance of the manager’s guidance was then highlighted.
Always listen to what your manager has to say lads

It became apparent that there might have been some flukey play earlier on.
Meanwhile, Rob White shows his 60 yard pass earlier was a fluke by sending 3 balls out over the sideline.

Proof that the players were listening to their manager.
And as I said earlier – always listen to your manager!

The glass half-full approach to misses.
Rob Lynch attempts to get on the scoresheet with an outside of the boot effort from 14 yards.
It wasn't as bad a wide as you'd expect

Then the final whistle blew.
Full time here, and the #Inters have their first league win of the season! Now off to @ThePavilionBar to celebrate!#TrinAbú
