The Sunday Game have named their hurling team of the year.
The panel of Henry Shefflin, Michael Duignan, Liam Sheedy, Ger Loughnane, Eddie Brennan, Brendan Cummins and Cyril Farrell made their selections on the long-running RTE show a few hours after Tipperary beat Kilkenny 2-29 to 2-20 at Croke Park to claim the All-Ireland Championship.
Tipp have seven representatives on the team, Kilkenny have four, and two each from Galway and Waterford complete the team.
