The opening lines of Aidan O’Shea’s Wikipedia page describe his beast mode perfectly

Kevin McGillicuddy

Perhaps the editor of Aidan O’Shea’s Wikipedia page was overcome with Cheltenham fever.

Or maybe they are just so impressed with the Breaffy man that they felt they had to describe his ‘beast mode’ in equine terms.

Either way, when you go searching for Aidan O’Shea on the internet’s free encyclopedia, there is no doubting the image that the opening lines bring to mind.

O’Shea is 6’4 and weighs about 100kgs and that makes him very, very hard to stop.

Almost as hard to stop as one of the most famous racehorses of all time.

We’ll get to see exactly how O’Shea fares tonight when he features in the Toughest Trade as he swaps life as a GAA player for that of a horse NFL tight-end.

But if the GAA doesn’t work out, perhaps a life on the gallops may suit him better.
